Select Announces 2023 Safety Recognition Program Finalists

Select Water Solutions is proud to announce the 2023 Safety Recognition Program (SRP) finalists. In a year that witnessed an unwavering commitment to safety, a total of 2,027 safety awards were distributed to individuals across our organization. 

The highlight of this recognition program is the upcoming SRP reception, scheduled to take place in Gainesville, Texas, on January 24. Thirty-two exceptional team members have earned the privilege of attending this exclusive event, where one finalist will drive away in a brand-new pickup truck, courtesy of Select. 

“The SRP is a testament to Select’s dedication to fostering a safety culture throughout the company. Our primary goal is to keep our people, our communities, and our job sites safe always,” said Allen Hughes, Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety for Select Water Solutions. “Without a constant focus on safety, we could not provide customers with the operational excellence they come to expect from our company.”

All participants will be awarded custom boots, a $100 gift card, a sweatshirt, and a plaque commemorating their commitment to safety. Additionally, each finalist has a chance to win prizes such as a JBL speaker, a Carbinox smartwatch, or even a VR headset in a drawing. 

The grand prize for the year is a 2024 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado, with the second-place winner receiving $7,500 and the third-place winner securing $5,000. 

About the Safety Recognition Program 

Since its launch in 2016, the Safety Recognition Program has been a cornerstone of Select Water Solutions’ EHS program. Throughout the year, the program recognizes team members who consistently exhibit a dedication to safety in their day-to-day roles. 

Every Select employee is eligible to earn up to five safety awards annually, with each tier representing a higher level of distinction. Those who secure all five awards become finalists and are invited to attend the SRP reception in Gainesville, Texas where they have a chance to win a brand-new pickup truck.
